In our daily lives we become so busy doing important things, things that we pray about and consult the Lord earnestly for His guidance we pray about Finances, Relationships, Marriage problems, Finding a life Partner or Soul Mate, Work related issues and yet most often then not we find ourselves burned out and many times ill with tension headaches and insomnia, loss of apatite all of which could have been avoided if only we took the time to wait upon the Lord. We meet different people and can hardly expect to survive the enemy’s attacks unless we learn the secrets of waiting upon the Lord.
We tend to govern our own lives and we work out our own strategies and plans to get through our busy schedules, well, like Dr Phil would say, I quote “how’s that working for you?” Have you ever stopped to ask yourself this question? God knows all about what we have to face out there!

• Psalm 27:14
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the Lord”.
Our Key Words in this verse are Wait , courage and He shall strengthen thine heart.
How many times during one given week, or sometime in a day do we get discouraged?
In this verse we are called to wait on the Lord, and be of good courage. You may ask “ If I’m confused and scared, angry and frustrated how can I be of good courage?”
When you feel discouraged you must wait on the Lord. To wait mean to wait! Stop, Yield, Rest a while, Take a break, Time out, Wait without your stop watch! Don’t time God, don’t tap your feet while waiting because you’ve got a million things to go and tend to, just wait! He will get to you soon enough.
The Results: He shall strengthen your heart! Look at that, Now don’t you think it was worth the wait?
With renewed you can think clearly, face the challenges of life head-on, you will be a better boss, employee, friend, family member, husband, child, boyfriend, girlfriend, but the best of all you will be a content Christian, with a clearer vision for your life.

• Psalm 37:7
“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of those who prospereth in their way, because of those who bring wicked devices to pass”.
Key Word, Rest, fret not, those who proper in their ways
Rest: This is by no means the rest the human body goes through while asleep. This is a different kind of rest. This means don’t think, don’t plan, don’t worry, don’t wonder what’s next, don’t look around wondering when God will answer you, this rest means total commitment and trust in Gods ability to help and refresh you.
